Now I understand that people in general want to believe that we are the only life out there. The thing is that there are 70 Trillion stars out there and using conventional logic every 44 or 45 Billion stars will have a planet around them capable of sustaining life. Using these metrics what are the chances? Now the reason for them to “probe” us, what would we do if we went to their planet. There is something to be said about their methods, but if they come from across the stars what are the chances that their tools work the way they were designed to and as far as the “probing” goes, if we were able to traverse the stars and they weren’t would we consider them lower or higher lifeforms?
I’m just saying that if the tables were turned… I’m not saying that I believe in life on other planets, but I am willing to admit that there is a possibility and given the sheer numbers involved I’m pretty sure it’s a pretty good possibility. We as a race of people don’t want to believe in things we can’t see which is why we as a people seem to have so much trouble with religion in general.
