This sounds like a simple question right? Just look up and you’ll have your answer, or will you? Quite a few people will just say that it’s blue without a second thought. For those people I would ask…
- Why can you see the stars at night, but not during the day?
- Why can you see land from space and not just a blue haze?
- Why is it that we see other colors at dawn and dusk?
- Why can land be seen from space no matter the time of day, but space can only be seen from land at night?
I get that people want an order to things, but is not looking helping somehow? Take Albert Einsteins’ Theory of Relativity… First off what does the speed at which light travels have to do with anything and just to throw a monkey wrench into the mix how was the speed at which light travels calculated in Einsteins’ day? I’m sorry, but at that time I cannot see a way they could effectively remove human reaction time from the mix. So are the building blocks we are basing our science on faulty?
